Updates: Here, There, and All Over

Yet…another long hiatus since the last posting. Again, I got a lot to mention but I’m going to try to keep this short and simple on the upcoming topics.

Here I go…

Chassis/Car Choice

So, I found a RT95 Toyota Corona Coupe! It was a find — from a barn find that has me questioning my sanity at moments, but this car is unusually rare to buy now. I will post a more detail description of what’s going on with the build and where I’m taking it.

Surplus of… Stuff

18RC Block Anyone?

Within this month (roughly) I will be posting on eBay things I can’t use. It’s mostly components from the current build… I’ll post on this site as well on Japanese Nostalgic Car (JNC) and/or Toyota Owners’ and Restorers Club (TORC)’s forums.

A Car Show and a Meet

I visited a couple more car events here in Texas and back in SoCal. One was a casual affair in early spring with the signs of growing interest in late-model Japanese cars.
The other was an adventure with a seedy motel chain operator, a naïve Jehovah Witness, TRAFFIC, disgruntled vendor, lost camera monopod, TRAFFIC, pancakes, and tons of “Tacos”. I will go into details about these as well.

Did I mention the TRAFFIC?

Test out the custom Taco? Sure!
