Hello everyone!

The long-delayed posting is finally here.

High above Orange County… You can see downtown LA in the distance

It was kind of a homecoming and business trip rolled into 48 hours. I made the decision to catch a car show. But this is not any car show.

Though, there are ones who are not in the know about these cars would probably avoid or not waste their time. Yet, there are a few who know about this show and then “meh… I rather see the show in Vegas next month”. Regardless, if you know about this show (or rather gathering) its one of those things you should add to your automobilia bucket list.

I’ve been to car gatherings in past: Sunday afternoon at Nurburgring, Friday night street racing, Coffee with Cars, AutoX and RallyX events, LA Auto Show, some odd car show at a local Houston Subaru dealership, and so forth. This one here… I actually enjoyed a lot. SoCal just feels like Old Car Mecca; vehicles that would be otherwise in very bad shape or not seen at all in other parts of the nation can be found on the freeway or parallel-parked on Pacific Coast Highway (PCH).

The corridors of LAX…

With the decision made, I flew out very early from IAH to LAX for a two-day trip with the intent mingle and start networking with other businesses. Since I going to be in the area, why not do some reminiscing?
